Born in the marvelous landscape of Maramures, I lived as a child the pleasure of enjoying the peace and beauty of the area. For a short period of time, my life has taken me away from my native lands. But I couldn't stay away too long. I came back and founded my family in this place, so dear to my soul. Then I wanted to show the world this corner of heaven. And I've built the "Popasul Ioana" pension.
Pension Popasul Ioana is located in a mifiric setting, near the forest, on a 7000sqm land, available to tourists. It is a building where the modern blends perfectly with the rustic. The warm atmosphere makes every moment spent in our guesthouse an unforgettable one.
The rich flora and fauna of the surroundings gives the eye images that, once imprinted in your mind, make you come back to beautiful Maramures.
At present, the pension has 2 apartmenta, 1 double room with matrimonial bed and 1 room with two single beds.
I will not stop here, on the contrary, I intend to diversify the offered services. In the near future, I will increase the accommodation space and I will install a swimming pool that will cool you on the hot summer days.
